Each of the four guest house bedrooms has its own individual style; all have
en-suite facilities,
colour TVs, most with integrated or stand-alone DVD players or
VCRs (mini-suites have colour TVs in both
bedroom and lounge and), tea and coffee-making facilities,
hairdryers, foot
spas, mini-fridges and many other personal touches.
The Lake Room (featured
below left) is
a large, double bedroom, which offers stunning views
towards Grasmere Lake and the surrounding fells. Just
imagine yourself, at the end of the day, after an
invigorating whirlpool bath, relaxing on the sofa, with a cup of
tea (or a glass of wine) and a piece of the famous Grasmere
gingerbread. The
fully-tiled bathroom to the Lake Room (featured
below right) incorporates a
whirlpool bath, with power shower overhead.

The
Fellside Suite is our first floor mini-suite, consisting of a
bedroom, bathroom and small sitting room, which offers
enchanting views of Grasmere that will inspire the artist in you.
What better place to sit and relax and escape the stresses
of day-to-day life? The bedroom has a king-size
wrought iron bed and the sitting room has a sofa that converts
into a bed, which can accommodate two children or an extra adult.
The delightful bathroom has a luxury, corner whirlpool bath, with power shower
overhead.

The Garden Suite
(featured below left), comprising our only twin-bedded room, is located on the
ground floor and the fully-tiled, en-suite bathroom has a bath
with power shower overhead. The adjoining lounge, with its
picture window, looking on to our Lakeland garden and the fells
which form its backdrop, is a great place to while away an
afternoon. The
sofa also converts in to a bed, allowing the flexibility of accommodating
a family with two children or an extra adult.
The
Ivory Room (featured below right) is a double bedroom, which
compensates for its modest size with an en suite bathroom that
boasts a luxury power shower, with body jets. This will
really set you up for a day on the fells or re-invigorate you
after a night on the tiles!
