If you have a booking that is affected by a lockdown, either locally or nationally, you may postpone your booing to any future date without a time restrictions.

We are following government guidelines and industry best practice to ensure we provide accommodation in a way that is safe for our staff and customers. Impeccable hygiene, health and safety has always been a top priority for us.


We have carried out a thorough risk assessment to understand what risks we might have. Following that assessment and implementing the guidance, we have put in place additional measures to further reduce risk.


These measures include:

  • Reinforced cleaning processes: with close attention paid to frequently touched objects like door handles and stair banisters. 

  • Reduced items provided in rooms

  • Our guests are provided with clear information so that they can check themselves into their rooms. This helps them and us minimize congestion in our front room.

  • Reduced room servicing. Guests can put their bins out, and request items, rather than having a cleaner enter their room each day.

  • Hand sanitizer provided at our entrance.

  • Keeping our rooms well ventilated

  • All of our rooms are now booked without any meals included. This means that our guests can choose when and where to eat. Our guests receive 10% off at The Good Sport, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served.

  • The Good Sport also has a Covid-Secure policy in place,

  • The Good Sport has a table booking system, offers takeaway and has an online ordering platform. 

  • Guests requested not to stay with us and staff told not to come into work if they have any symptoms 

  • Staff wash their hands more frequently
