Easedale Tarn
The approach to Easedale Tarn has a couple of steep sections but is mostly flat - Sour Milk Ghyll waterfall is particularly splendid after heavy rain. The shortest way to come back is to cross the beck where it leaves the tarn: alternatively you can circle around the tarn - the path is there, but sometimes hard to spot - or do the longer and steeper track up to Clodale Tarn and back down the ridge. The complete loop including Clodale Tarn takes 4-5 hours.
