Grasmere and Rydal Lakes

The walk around Grasmere Lake is the simplest and shortest that we list, and can be tackled by most guests. To extend the walk, include Rydal Water and optionally Rydal Cave. We prefer going anti-clockwise on these routes, so returning along the A591 or the Coffin Trail, but they may be walked equally well in either direction.
